New product launch “Delicious Chewable Propolis Tablet” 

Unique Biotech has launched a new propolis health functional food, “Delicious Chewable Propolis Tablet” on May 1. This is the second product developed under the Yummy Propolis Development Project of Unique Biotech. The product comes in the form of chewable tablet that contain Zinc, Vitamin C and Selenium.

The chewable tablet-type product makes it easy for consumers to take propolis, with added functional health benefits including anti-bacterial effects for oral hygiene and health as well as anti-oxidant effects. Addition of zinc to the product helps with immune system and cell division. Vitamin C in the product helps form connective tissues, maintain body functions and absorb iron while anti-oxidation helps protect cells from free radicals. It is a premium health functional food developed to protect cells from free radicals by adding selenium. 

Taking two tablets(3g) daily will ensure a total flavonoid intake of 20.896mg a day. Starting 2024, daily total flavonoid intake has been increased to 20 to 40mg as a result of the functional re-evaluation conducted in 2022. It is the first propolis health functional food launched with the first proactive application of the new flavonoid content recommendation.

The new product will be rolled out through the cloud funding platform Wadiz. The company is receiving applications for open notification from April 28 to May 7 and the product will be offered for sale at a discounted price in a limited number from May 8 to May 14. Once the funding is closed, it will be available for sale on Coupang, Naver (Smart Store) and our website(www.unibee.kr) from June.
