In the December 2015 issue of Fisheries and Aquatic Science published the result of feeding trial of propolis on flatfishes, titled “Effects of Dietary Supplementation of Two Types of Propolis on Growth Performance, Feed Utilization, Innate Immunity and Disease Resistance of Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. (vol.18 No.4 Dec.2015)

This experiment evaluated growth rate and included blood and immune system analyses as well as Edwerdsiella tarda resistance of flatfishes after adding certain quantities of propolis in their diet. The trial was jointly conducted with Prof. Kyeong-Jun Lee and his team from Jeju national university and Unique Biotech Co., Ltd.
