In the November 2014 issue of Aqua Culture Journal carried the result of feeding trial of propolis on flatfishes, titled “Use of Natural Antibiotics in the Aquaculture Industry” in special contribution format.

This experiment evaluated growth rate and included blood and immune system analyses as well as Edwerdsiella tarda resistance of flatfishes after adding certain quantities of propolis in their diet. The trial was jointly conducted with Prof. Gyeongjun Lee and his team from Jeju national university and Unique Biotech Co., Ltd.
